Preparation and choosing good quality stain is important |
|
There are 3 categories of stain:
- Clear solution
- Semi-transparent
- Semi-solid
It is important which of these 3 options to use, depends on the condition of the wood. Some wood will be enough to power wash, but some have to be sanded down with power-sander |

Stairways and Hardwood Installation/Restoration

Any stairways can be restored even if there is big damage or very badly stained or painted.
Stairs or railings are a tough job but it is possible to make them beautiful. Good preparation and patience are necessary. Matching the stairs to the existing hardwood floor is a key to success. Our people match the stairs to perfection. Three coats of varnish are recommended because of heavy traffic. |
